How did it all start?

At the age of 17, after the end of my football career, I began to devote myself fully to the field of fitness and nutrition, where I have been active for more than ten years. During this time I had the opportunity to try a number of nutritional protocols, including pre-competition bodybuilding diets.

I always had high ambitions in all areas, which I tried to gradually fulfill and also actively educate myself in my spare time. I have also attended a number of fitness seminars and webinars hosted by world leaders in the field, which have greatly helped me understand the workings of the human body as a whole.

I have been involved in strength training for 15 years, and for more than 7 years I have been actively working as a personal trainer at Simply Fitness.

My main goal is to help all individuals who put themselves in my hands, to teach them how to exercise technically, to eat properly, to improve their health and fitness through hormonal optimization and to get rid of old myths in the field of fitness. I want to help everyone who is willing to invest their resources and time in themselves and using modern trends from abroad to achieve the set goal together.

Advice for beginners

Three years ago, I completely eliminated protein and BCAAs (surprise to the world, I didn't lose any muscle) and focused on gut health (probiotics, digestive enzymes), adaptogens and micronutrients, which, together with appropriately set training and cardio, I see as the basic key to achieving the best results. This is exactly the philosophy I try to instill in my clients.

Therefore, if I could turn back time, I would invest all the unnecessarily invested money in a quality trainer who has results both for himself and his clients, not three months a year, but all year round. This is an investment that will pay you back many times over.

Story behind - my journey

Many of you only see the finished "product", only a handful know how it all started.

Everyone started somehow and even I wasn't born with a six pack and didn't lift 200 kg from the ground day after day. I started as an average, unremarkable person who went to school and played football with my friends in the afternoons, which I used to compete competitively until the age of 17, when a turning point came in my thinking and I decided to focus on something more individual.

I've always been a very ambitious person in every way, so after my first visit to the gym (until then, we practiced in the evenings at home with one-arms), I already knew that this particular sport would be right for me. In the beginning it was not easy at all. Eating habits at home were typically Czech, i.e. (lots of side dishes, little meat) and so I invested all the funds I earned from part-time jobs in a season ticket for a gym, food and then also protein.

At first I tried to combine it with frequent visits to various parties and alcohol, but later I found out that the road does not lead here and I will not achieve maximum results this way. I started reading various articles from the Internet (such as ronnie.cz) and gradually tried various exercises and eating methods using the "trial and error" system, which is why I was happy for every piece of advice I received from M. Loudy (whom I met in the gym - bodybuilder and referee). During the first few years I tried the vast majority of diets and training plans. From low carb, keto, high carb, etc. to German Volume training, Bear routine, etc. There were many mistakes and falls connected with cursing and misunderstanding some friends that I later lost.

I gradually started to build muscle mass and reach my maximum strength (such as 1x220kg - deadlift, 150kg Bench press/squat or neutral push with 30kg around the waist), the only thing I was still struggling with was diet. In 2013, I tried my first diet (carbohydrate waves), after which I got to a very low percentage of fat (5-6%), which was something unreal for me at the time. A feeling that is definitely worth experiencing, even if there is a very difficult path leading to it. After the feedback from my surroundings, I started flirting with the idea of participating in a competition in the then new Physique category. I tried twice (on myself) and failed despite the form being solid the last few days.

Before D-Day, there were always unnecessary mistakes and putting the body under undue stress, which of course showed. It is not for nothing that they say "Do not fix...what is not broken". Unfortunately, at that time I could not afford to work with a quality trainer, but I began to understand its importance. Even after these setbacks, I continued to do what fulfilled me and, outside of university studies, I educated myself in the field of fitness in every spare moment (mostly in foreign sources - studies, webinars) and knew that when I graduated I would try to realize my dream and make a living what fulfills me and what I have devoted a large part of my life to. Gradually, people began to appear who saw my potential and wanted to support me on this journey in some way, either financially/with partial sponsorship, for which I am still grateful to this day, because when it was the worst, it was these steps that again directed me to not give up and that it what I do has some meaning. A crucial step was then to start working with one of the transformation specialists from UK, during which I clarified some principles that worked best for my body and began to apply them to my nutritional manuals, which I created for my future clients, so that they would have part of my "know how" in a comprehensive form and avoid unnecessary mistakes. After trying a few gyms and collecting my first clients, I "settled" in Simply Fitness in 2016, where the owner P.Bugaj gave me the opportunity to utilize my previous knowledge and apply it in practice to his clients, with whom we achieved respectable transformations. Not everyone is willing to share them with the public, which is why I respect those in question all the more (see transformation). I have always been a very strict person and did things completely or not at all.

This is exactly how I conceived fitness, some condemned it, others (especially those who went through such a change) understood, because it is not only a change in body composition, but also in the psyche and overall lifestyle, often drastically for the better. In recent years, I have established several collaborations with successful international trainers, which continue to this day, and I try to constantly acquire new information for myself and my clients and achieve constant progress. Since I went through a series of transformations myself during those 11 years of exercise without a single break or injury, I know very well what such a person is going through and I am able to more easily show him the direction he should go. The transformations you can see here are exactly the direction I want to go.
